近三年翻译类学位论文研究设计管窥

A Sampling Survey of the Research Design in Domestic Dissertations on Translation Studies during Recent Three Years

研究设计主要包括研究问题与假设、研究方法与数据收集以及理论框架等要件,与研究质量息息相关。自2004年以来,翻译类学位文章激增,但质量问题仍存。通过对2007-2009年3年间国内翻译类博硕士论文的研究设计部分进行抽样调查并分析,可管窥论文研究质量,并为翻译学发展提供参照。时贤虽不乏重视方法论意识者,但对方法论在研究中的落实即研究设计进行专门调查则属首次。抽样结果表明,此类研究设计存在较多问题,值得重视。

Research design consists of three key elements,i.e.research questions hypotheses,research methods data collection and theoretical framework,research design,which is an indicator of research quality and thus merits close attention.Since 2004,recent years have witnessed a rapid growth in the number of MA and PhD dissertations concerning translation.However,what matters more is the quality instead of the quantity.Therefore,a probe into the research design section of those dissertations is of undoubted significance,which has never been conducted before.By analyzing a sampling survey on the research design of the dissertations during 2007-2009,a glimpse is presented of the current quality regarding translation-related research.Findings reveal that serious problems do exist,which will hinder and even impair translation studies as a discipline in future development.
