The response changes of chlorophyll a content, photosynthetic rate, photosynthetic assimilation rate of carbon and carbonic anhydrase activity to CO2 enrichment were studied in Skeletonema costatum,Heterosigma akashiw and Chlorella sp.by the experimental ecology methods. The results showed that the chlorophyll a content in the three species of marine microalgae did not exhibit notable response changes to enrichment CO2,and the chlorophyll a content under Enrichment CO2 conditions had not the obvious difference compared with control group(P〉0.05).However,the photosynthetic rate, photosynthetic assimilation rate of carbon and carbonic anhydrase activity in the three species of marine microalgae were increased remarkably(P〈0.05).Among S.costatum,H.akashiw and Chlorell.sp,H.akashiw was most sensitive to enrichment CO2,and Chlorella sp.was relatively insensitive. The results showed that CO2 enrichment could stimulate an increase of carbonic anhydrase activity, and further lead to the increases of photosynthetic rate and photosynthetic assimilation rate of carbon in the three species of marine microalgae.
