The Conception of OPAC Based on Web3.0

OPAC作为用户访问图书馆资源的门户,体现了图书馆的服务能力和水平,在信息技术高速发展,文献类型快速增长的今天,传统的OPAC不能满足用户的需求。利用Web3.0技术与理念,使OPAC脱离ILS的束缚,建立检索范围广泛、书目内容丰富、文献内容相关联、检索高效准确、检索结果按相关度排序、以用户为中心、读者高度参与的OPAC,可以将图书馆的服务延伸到图书馆之外,提高图书馆资源的利用率。

AS the gateway of accessing library resources, OPAC manifests the ability and standard of the library services. Nowadays, with the rapid development of the information technology and the fast growth of the information resources, the traditional OPAC cannot satisfy the user＇s need anymore. Using the technology and the idea of Web3.0 will improve the performance of OPAC greatly in many aspects such as detaching OPAC from the ILS, broaden search range, enriching library catalog, associated document with content, improving the accuracy and efficiency of retrieval, to sort the search result by relevance, etc. It will also benefited to the user-centered service principle and a high degree of participation of the user which will extend the library service and enhance the utilization of the library resources.
