This paper introduces the ME engines of MAN BW Company.Compared with the original type,it has made the brief description to the unique feature and the performance characteristic.It introduced the composition and the function of its electrical-controlled system and the hydraulic-control system.The ME engines has the electrical-hydraulic control system,highly intellectualized,nimbly controlled,but it does not have the intuitive operation of the traditional low speed diesel engine,the new technology proposed to the crew and the ship-managing personnel a higher request.In order to a better use and maintain,this article analyzes the hydraulic system characteristic and the management request.
