摘要
为解决流媒体系统中基于多描述编码的多树模型所存在的同步问题,提出一种基于多描述编码的单树应用层组播模型.该模型在节点间采用多对多的传输方式,通过描述资源的均匀分布和最大覆盖算法为节点获取最大描述集,并将资源请求均匀分布在父节点集中,实现对父节点的最大请求覆盖,来提高动态环境下单树模型的鲁棒性.仿真实验证明,该模型以较小的协议开销,提高了节点的数据接收率,降低了链路强度,实现了系统在动态环境下的高可靠性.
A novel single tree model based on multiple description coding for application layer multicast is proposed to address the synchronization of descriptions due to multiple tree model in streaming media system.Many to many transmission style is adopted in this model,the maximum description set and maximum request covering of parent nodes are worked out with algorithm UDDMC(Uniform Distribution of Descriptions based Maximum Covering),the robustness of single tree model is also achieved by uniform distribution of resource and request among parents.Experiments demonstrate that high data receiving rate,low link stress and high reliability in dynamic situation are achieved with low overhead.
