TBI主题教学模式与高职英语听力教学

摘要 由于高职学生的英语基础普遍较差,不少学生对学习英语失去兴趣,影响整个课堂气氛和教学效果。传统的高职英语听力教学耗时、低效,学生处于被动、消极的状态,教师也很难了解学生在听课过程中的困难和问题。将TBI主题教学模式应用于高职英语听力教学,探究英语教学质量的提高,可以实现课堂高效,提高高职学生的英语应用能力。 Many students in vocational colleges lose their interest in English study on account of their weak foundation in English, which influences classroom atmosphere and teaching effects. In traditional English lis- tening class, teacher would raise questions followed by corresponding answers and explanations subsequent to playing recordings. As a result, English listening teaching features time-consuming and low efficiency. Based on the said problems in English listening teaching, the article applies TBI theme-based teaching models to English listening teaching in vocational colleges in an attempt to improve English teaching quality and the practical English competence of students in vocational colleges.
