建设高等教育强国与地方高校的“位”和“为”

Positioning and Performing of Local Colleges and Great Power of Higher Education

地方高校作为我国高等教育的主体,在建设高等教育强国的进程中起着基础和支撑的重要作用。当前,地方高校应进一步提高人才培养质量、提升科学研究水平、拓展社会服务内涵,从而为建设高等教育强国贡献力量。同时,建设高等教育强国这一重大战略目标的提出,也使地方高校面临着重要的发展机遇。地方高校理应以此为契机,通过树立积极的发展理念、选择特色的发展模式、构建和谐的发展机制,进一步提升学校的办学水平和办学实力,以期能为建设高等教育强国做出更大贡献。

As a main force of Chinese higher education, local colleges play a foundational and supportive role in the process of building a great power of higher education. At present, the local colleges want to make contributions to building a great power by further improving the educational quality and the research level as well as enlarging the social service. Local colleges will have good chances to develop themselves after the strategic aims have been set. So they should grasp the chances to improve their level and quality through active development perceptions, characteristic development modes and harmonious development systems.
