Cultivating students＇ autonomous learning ability is the need of times and society. Based on the theory of the silent teaching way, the relationship between the silent way and the cultivation of students＇ autonomous learning ability is analyzed, and how to cultivate this ability via the application of the silent teaching way are explored. The result is that the students guided by teachers in the learning process can gradually acquire this ability through this innovative teaching model.
