论禹之谟与湖南辛亥革命

On Yu Zhi-mo and The 1911 Revolution in Hunan

禹之谟是湖南著名的资产阶级民主革命者,他一方面以兴实业、办学校为掩护进行革命的宣传和组织,另一方面通过领导一系列群众运动,对抗帝国主义的侵略和清政府的黑暗统治。纵观禹之谟的革命轨迹,虽然不能说为湖南辛亥革命建立了丰功伟绩,但他在辛亥革命准备阶段以不同于职业革命者的方式为推动湖南辛亥革命作出了一定贡献。

Yu Zhi-mo is the famous bourgeois democratic revolutionist in Hunan.He set up industry and ran schools for revolutionary propaganda and organization,on the other hand,he led a mass movement against the imperialist aggression and the Qing government.As for Yu Zhi-mo＇s revolutionary activities,he did not have great achievements for The 1911 Revolution in Hunan,but he paved the way for the promotion of professional revolutionaries to make a certain contribution to The 1911 Revolution in Hunan.
