A New Adaptive Beamforming Algorithm Using Cascade Configuration

本文提出了一种级联的自适应波束形成算法。这种算法能非常快地收敛到最佳解,对接收信号相关矩阵特征值大的分散不敏感,尤其是本算法能够在快拍数小于阵元个数时也能很好地工作。

In this paper, we propose a new adaptive beamforming algorithm using a cascade configuration. The algorithm converges to the optimum solution very fast, and is not sensitive to a large eigenvalue spread in the correlation matrix of the received signal. Especially, the new algorithm is able to work well when the number of snapshots is smaller than that of the array sensors.
