摘要
骨关节炎(osteoarthritis,OA)是中老年人的常见病,是活动关节的一种慢性退行性疾病。其病因及发病机制尚未完全明确。OA不是一种单纯的老化过程,而是遗传度较高的疾病。目前已有较多候选基因被视作OA的易感基因。研究易感基因有助于明确OA的发病机制,也为制定OA的防治策略提供科学依据。本文对OA重要的易感基因研究进展进行综述。
Osteoarthritis(OA),characterized by late-onset degeneration of articular cartilage,is the leading cause of disability in the elderly population and the highest ranking among the musculoskeletal diseases.Although the multifactorial nature of osteoarthritis is well recognized,the cause of OA is still unclear.Evidence is growing for the role of age,sex,genetics, dietary intake,muscle weakness,and obesity.The role of genetic factors in the development of osteoarthritis have recently received considerable attention.It is recognized that genetic components have an important role in developing OA. Some genes are considered as candidate genes in OA susceptibility and progression.The paper introduced the progress on candidate genes of OA to explain the multigenic feature-specific nature and to help unravel some of the complex disease mechanisms of OA.
