The Analysis and Evaluation of the Official Rules of the Usage of Okurigana

送假名是日语构词的重要手段,在表记上有一定的不确定性。中文在文字上多一笔,少一笔,英文在单词拼写上多一个字母少一个字母都是不行的,因此,它们具有唯一性。为了规范送假名的标示,日本政府颁布了《送假名表记法》。分析和评价《送假名表记法》语言学背景,对日语的构词理论建构和语言习得具有一定意义。

Okurigana is an important way of word-building in Japanese.It is characterized by the fact that the number of kana in a given word（e.g.,hiragana or katakana） is not well defined.This is different from Chinese,which is strict about the number of strokes for a given character;or from English,which is strict about the number of letters for a given word.To standardize the usage of Okurigana,the Japanese government issued the Official Rules of the Usages of Okurigana.This paper is intended to analyze and evaluate the Official Rules of the Usage of Okurigana.And this analysis has important implications for the theorizing of word formation in Japanese as well as teaching Japanese as a second language.
