A blackening process at atmospheric temperature for chain board and chain hardware was introduced.The operation specification and process control main points of the pretreatment,oxidation blackening and post-treatment were described.The causes of producing common defects during blackening were analyzed,and the trouble removal were presented.Application practices indicated that the blackening process at atmospheric temperature has good characteristics of energy saving,high efficiency,easy operation,less environmental pollution and low cost,and the performance meets the user’s requirement.
