“能为曲者方能为词”——尤侗词曲观考释

"Only those who are able to write excellent Qu can write excellent Ci"——A Textual Research On YouTong's conceptions of Ci and Qu

尤侗所论以"能为曲者方能为词"为核心的词曲观,宜将之放在历朝衍变的词曲观念的背景中考察,比照于众多曲论家对词曲关系的探讨,可以有三个方面的阐释:曲难于词;曲胜于词;为曲正名。因此,尤侗之语不可作断章取义之解,其词曲之论表述较为全面,实则具有总结性和拓展性的意义,是有关曲学的本体论的重要论说。

The critique words on Qu and Ci called ＂only those who are able to write excellent Qu can write excellent Ci＂ by YouTong should be investigated in view of evolutional critiques in previous dynasties.In comparison with the research on relationship of Qu and Ci by a number of Qu theorists,there are three aspects of the interpretation：Qu is more difficult than Ci;Qu is better than Ci;Qu＇s status should be higher.Therefore,YouTong＇s critiques can not be taken out of the context,and the statements is very comprehensive,actually having a conclusive and developing meaning.
