The Effect of Predominant Period on the Maximum of Response Spectrum

摘要 针对地震强度问题,从卓越周期角度在计算上予以探讨。首先对以地面运动峰值加速度单参量确定地震强度的方法进行了考察,然后指出了卓越周期不仅具有影响反应谱水平段长短而且具有直接影响反应谱水平段高低即反应谱是大值大小的特性。在此基础上,提出了卓越周期应作为一个地震强度决定因素之看法。 Based on calculation, this papes is devoted to discuss the seismic strength from the point view of predominant period. The first in this paper it is inspected that the seimic strength is detemninated by the single parameter of peak acceleration of input ground motion. And then it is pointed out that the predominant affects not only the length of horizontal line of response spectrum but also the height of horizontal line or maximum of response spectrum. On the grounds above, there is the opinion that the period, like the peak acceleration, should also be taken as adecisive parameter for seismic strength.
