满族说部是满族及其先民以口述形式承传的一种族群记忆，其内容的建构与播衍蕴含着丰富的族群历史与文化变迁的细节与因素，不仅是满族及其先民对其所直观感知的族群历史以及生活世界的一种构形，也是满族根性文化的重要遗存，体现着雄阔道劲的“史书”、“史笔”风格与蛮荒古朴的叙事特色。满族说部在传承与播衍方面具有封闭与单一的特点，但也与其他类口头文学一样，受社会发展变化及传承人等因素的影响而发生一定的变异，

Filled with details of ethnic history and cultural changes, Manchu＇s story-telling carries the historical and cultural memory of Manchu orally. It is not only the expression of ethnic history and understanding of their own living world by Manchu and their ancestors, but also the important heritage of Manchu＇s original culture. The transmission of Manchu＇s story-telling is. in a closed and single way, but similar to other kinds of oral literatures, it changes itself to some extent along with social developments and the shift of inheritors.
