本文简述面向对象建模语言UML（UnificdModelingLanguage，统一建模语言）的发展应用情况及其建模机制。并且着重介绍了公路信息移动终端系统的功能及设计，尤其是基于UML的用例图的系统用例建模。

This paper describes the development, application and modeling mechanics of UML.And in the paper there is an example about the function and designation of highway information mobile terminal.Then,UML modeling mechanics is the most important part.
