According to the technical characteristics of saloon car,in the view of using and maintaining a car,not changing its configuration,several methods of reducing fuel consumption are given.The control of engine temperature,driving speed and fuel economy of the saloon car is analyzed,and the rationalization proposal for engine and chassis maintenance is given.The fuel saving effect is remarkable after the technology practice.
