摘要
"异化"不是唯一有效的翻译策略,"归化"也不是。所以,过分强调"异化"或"归化"都有失偏颇。我们不赞成"扬异化、贬归化",在翻译实践中,异化、归化及其他翻译策略应该相辅相成、相得益彰。
Neither foreignization nor domestication is the one-and-only effective translation strategy.Overemphasis on one is liable to lead to bias against the other.The present paper disapproves of the practice of privileging foreignizing translation over domesticating translation,holding that foreignizing method,domesticating method and the others should coexist and compliment with one another in the practice of translation.
