Chinglish arises from the ideological differences between Chinese and English languages.Metaphor,as a fundamental pattern of ideology and action,determines the deep meaning of vocabulary and should be employed to uncover the ideological differences.Therefore,it is definitely an effective way to learn the vocabulary in terms of metaphors to modify Chinglish by learning similarities and differences between Chinese and English metaphors and matching tenor（Chinese metaphorical meanings） with vehicle（English words）.
