The present situation of the application of automated sampling and sample preparation system（ASSPS）in Baosteel were introduced.The equipment components and process flow of mechanical system which includes sample unit,the granularity unit and the moisture content determination unit,crush unit etc were especially introduced in the paper,summarized the main technological transformations of the ASSPS.Through introducing that the 800-number ASSPS of Baosteel independent technology integrates,it proved that Baosteel have taken large-scale automated sample preparation system＇s ability to self-integrated innovation,that provides the essential technical support for Baosteel and even our country iron ore ASSPS renovations upgrading.
