摘要
提出了长周期光纤光栅的一种新的制作方法,通过对光纤周期性刻槽并加热位伸引入纤芯形变,而使得纤芯折射率产生周期性变化。文中给出实验结果,并对其基本原理进行理论分析。
A Novel fabrication technique of long period fiber
gratings is proposed, which are fabricated with periodic modulation of the refractive index of the
core by heating and tapering fiber with carved periodic V grooves. The experimental results are
presented, and their fundamental principle is analysed. The most common use of the long
period fiber gratings is as a broadband rejection filter for WDM systems.
