曾子的大孝境界

The Realm of Great Filial Piety of Zengzi

曾子提出的以孝为中心范畴的思想体系,将孝分为三个层次,可以称作孝之三境界。他认为,孝的理想境界,就是以知恩报恩的心,在成就自己的同时也成就他人他物,使自己与他人他物都能充分显发天赋的潜能,共同臻于理想境界,从而也就使父母祖先的生命在自己"立德"、"立功"、"立言"的努力中达到最大程度的不朽。

Zengzi proposes to filial piety as the core theory of his thoughts. He divides filial piety into three levels, which may be called three realms of filial piety. Zengzi＇ s great filial piety is very lofty conception, he believes that the ideal realm of filial piety is to cultivate a heart of gratitude, make oneself success together with others, and make the lives of one＇ s parents and ancestors to achieve the greatest degree of immortality.
