基于后殖民语境下的林语堂文化翻译观解读

The Interpretation of Lin Yutang's Cultural Translation in Post-Colonialism Context

文章从后殖民理论视角出发,指出林语堂对中国传统文化的翻译受西方话语权的隐蔽制约。其翻译策略及文化身份定位,都显示了林氏未能脱离西方中心主义的影响,在翻译过程中用西方的期待视野来阐释中国,有对应依附的后殖民色彩。

This paper points out that Lin Yutang＇s translation of traditional Chinese culture was unconsciously restricted by western utterance power.His translation strategy and cultural identification orientation showed that Lin had not broken away from the influence of western centralism.In his translating process,he interpreted China in the western horizon of expectation and thus showed corresponding dependent post-colonialism.
