On Common People in Shakespeare’s Historical Plays

莎士比亚历史剧中的帝王将相往往成为莎学研究者的关注重点,而对于其中平民阶级的研究常常被边缘化,诗人到底持有什么样的平民观也是百家之言不尽其同。通过系统研究莎士比亚历史剧中的平民形象,找出平民在剧中的存在价值,从而发现诗人复杂而矛盾的平民观。

The emperors and nobles in Shakespeare’s historical plays have always been the focus of Shakespearean researchers.However,the common people in these plays are often ignored by them.What concept the poet holds on common people does not come to an agreement in the researchers.In this paper,the images of common people are given a systematic analysis.It is in the hope that the existence value of common people in his plays can be found so as to reveal the complicated and contradictory concept of the poet on them.
