Development of Wetend Chemistry and Wetend Additives in Papermaking

本文介绍了湿部化学和湿部化学助剂在造纸工业中的重要作用及其进展。

In this paper, the importance and development of wet-end chemistry and wet-end additives in paper industry are reviewed. Current applications and trends of wet-end chemicals in the world are also introduced. It is suggested that wetend chemistry process control should be introduced so as to select suitable type and optimum dosage of wetend chemical for wetend chemical equilibrium, to decrease wetend additive cost, to increase paper machine speed and to improve paper quality.
