PPARγ2基因Pro12Ala多态性与老年超重和肥胖的相关性

Association of PPARγ2 gene Pro12Ala polymorphism with over weight and obesity of older persons

目的探讨PPARγ2基因Pro12Ala多态性与辽宁地区汉族老年人群超重和肥胖的相关性。方法用聚合酶链反应-限制性片段长度多态性(PCR-RFLP)技术,对186例老年超重肥胖者和186例正常对照人群PPARγ2基因外显子的Pro12Ala多态性基因型进行对照分析。结果 PPARγ2基因12Ala等位基因在老年超重肥胖组和对照组的频率分别为4.3%、2.1%,两者间有显著性差异(P=0.046)。结论 PPARγ2基因外显子的Pro12Ala多态性与老年超重和肥胖相关。

Objective To determine frequencies distribution of peroxisome proliferator activated receptorγ2（PPARγ2） gene Pro12Ala polymorphism genotype and allele in Liaoning Han population,and the relationship with over weight and obesity of older persons.Methods Polymerase chain reaction（PCR）-restriction fragment length polymorphism（RFLP） was used to determine the distribution of allele and genotype frequencies of Pro12Ala polymorphism in（PPARγ2） gene in 186 over weight and obesity of older persons and 186 control subjects,case-contrast analysis was used to study the association between Pro12Ala polymorphism and over weight and obesity of older persons.Results 12 Ala allele frequencies in the case and control groups were 4.3%,2.1%,12 Ala allele was more frequent in the over weight and obesity of older persons than that in the control subjects（P=0.046）.Conclusions PPARγ12Ala allele may be associated with over weight and obesity of older persons.
