The multimodal transportation as the popular international organization form of transport has played a very important role in logistics development of ports and regional economic development.The multimodal transportation and the status of port information platforms and multimodal transportation information platforms in China are analyzed.Then the constructing object,principles and functions of the system are brought out.At last,the construction of the Qingdao port information is further analyzed.
