摘要
本文采用实验研究的方法,运用词汇联想测试,通过理解性词汇和产出性词汇在留学生心理词典的发展来考察两者在加工深度上的差异。实验表明,随着词汇从理解性词汇发展到产出性词汇,学习者的心理词典表现出一种动态的发展势态。总的趋势是,聚合反应和组合反应在增加,语音反应和无关反应(无反应)在减少。这在一定程度上说明,理解性词汇和产出性词汇在加工深度上存在差异,产出性词汇的加工水平比较高,理解性词汇的加工水平比较低。
This paper uses empirical research method and word association test to study the development of receptive and productive vocabularies in mental lexicon and the different processing depths of the two kinds of vocabulary of overseas students.The experiments show that learners' mental lexicon is a dynamic develop ment as their lexicon develops from receptive ones to productive ones.The general trend is an increase of as sembling reaction and combination reaction accompanied by a decrease of phonetic reaction and irrelevant reac-tion(no reaction).This,to some extend,shows the difference of processing depths between receptive and pro ductive vocabularies,that is,the processing level of productive vocabularies is higher than that of receptive ones.
