我国普通高校学费差异实证研究

An Empirical Study on the Undergraduate Tuition Disparity in China

当前我国普通高校学费水平依专业类别、学校类型和地区的差异而存在明显差异。分层线性模型分析结果显示,专业层面差异和学校层面差异是导致学费差异的重要因素。专业层面的差异主要由专业定价方式的差异造成,而专业成本的差异在学费差异中没有明显体现。学校类型差异对学校层面学费差异的形成具有一定解释作用。地区高等教育培养成本的差异和地区政府高等教育投资的努力程度差异是导致地区学费水平差异的重要因素。

There is a significant disparity in undergraduate tuition among majors,types of higher education institutions and regions in China.The results of hierarchical linear model show that major and types of institutions are two important factors contributing to the disparity of tuitions.Tuition differences among majors are mainly due to different tuition setting methods of different majors,while different cost of each major is not significantly related to the disparity of tuition.Meanwhile,the difference in type of institutions contributes significantly to the difference in tuition.Main factors attributing to regional tuition differences are the regional cost of higher education training and the efforts of local government＇s investment on higher education.
