Four methylsubstituted poly(aryl ether ketone ketone)(MePEKK) were synthesized from methyl substituted diphenyl ether and terephthaloyl chloride. Their structures and properties have been studied by IR, DSC and WAXD measurements. The polymers obtained showed an excellent heatresistance and good solventresistance.
