参加了5届全运会，拿了7枚金牌的天津武术队主教练刘宝玉是名副其实的金牌教练。20年来，他的弟子获得3个世界冠军、9个亚洲冠军、183个全国重大比赛冠军。虽然大名鼎鼎，刘宝玉却为人谦逊，待人随和，有着武术人特有的豪爽。他热情、健谈、乐观、仗义，说起话来，声音洪亮，底气十足，根本不像年近六旬的老人。
Having participated 5 National Games and obtained 7 gold medals,the head coach of Tianjin Wushu Team LIU Bao-yu is a true gold medal coach.During the past twenty years,his athletes have achieved the honor of champion in 3 world competition,9 Asian competition and 183 national major games.Despite of being almost sixty years old,LIU Bao-yu still holds his ground on the first line of exercise training and devotes himself to the development of Tianjin Wushu Team.As a sports professional,LIU Bao-yu keeps his daily exercise of 1 500m running,Taijiquan and Taijijian and never stops it in spite of the weather.He is roaming freely on the life-road of wushu.
