The training model with engineering features for application-oriented innovative talents should be applied in local colleges of engineering.This paper emphasizes that,based on the views of innovative education and pan-engineering,measures should be taken to coordinate development of knowledge,ability and quality of the talent,optimize the subject structure and curriculum system,and strengthen the practice teaching in order to cultivate the talents with innovative spirit,ability and quality.
