＂Education and Modernization＂ is a Chinese journal of higher education,well noted for its quality articles and academic influence.A quantitative analysis is made of the articles published by the journal in the past five years from a bibliometric perspective,involving its column designs,numbers of papers carried,types of authors,percentages of studies financed with foundation grants,etc.Its strengths and weaknesses are also assessed by utilizing information released by major domestic data providers,and suggestions are offered for its improvement.
