This article introduces the distinctive features of micro-coaxial and bimanual phacoemulsification and highlights the effects of microincisional phacoemulsificaition on anterior chamber stability,corneal incision status,astigmatism change,and intraocular lens implantation. Microincisional phacoemulsification is the trend of cataract surgery due to the substantial features of greater surgical control ,improved visual outcomes ,and less surgically induced astigmatism. With the development of phacoemulsification technology and intraocular lens designs,microincisional phacoemulsification is a promising surgical technique that continues to grow and evolve.
