By the comparison with the features of the conventional sintering technology, the sintering principle and characteristics of the microwave sintering technology, as well as its developments of research on the applications of metal powder compact and ceramics at home and abroad were highly introduced. It also referred to the main parts of microwave sintering equipment and the prospect of developments and industrial applications of microwave sintering technology.
