摘要
词汇歧义在广告英语中的应用相当广泛。探究广告英语中词汇歧义的存在形式和词汇歧义在广告英语中的语用价值,以词汇歧义的多重含义及广告英语翻译的最终目标为基础,以契合译法、拆译法、套译法和变通译法等不同的翻译方法为指导,对词汇歧义在广告英语中的翻译及其应用作了初步探讨。
It is one of the common phenomena——ambiguous words in advertising English.This paper begins with discussing the forms of ambiguous words,the values of ambiguous words in advertising English.On the basis of the plural meanings of ambiguous words and final purposes of translation in advertising English,it analyzes the approaches to translation: agreeing with,taking apart,copying,adapting and compensating.
