三十年过去了,我们还是在听《费加罗婚礼序曲》、《命运交响曲》,似乎永远也普及不完,似乎永远在追求"高雅"的路上不知疲倦地重复一成不变的,老生常谈的曲目,却不知,只有吃遍天下美食的人,才能嚼出家常小食的真味。同样,只有不断接触大量的艺术、大量的音乐作品,人的眼界才会开阔,才会懂得什么是真正伟大的音乐。我们只有拿来,不断地拿来,不断地观摩,才能学会甄别。否则,无休止的"四菜一汤"不但令人倒胃,更何谈什么"高雅"。
After Zhang Yimou presented his grand version in the Forbidden City more than a decade ago,Turandot has reigned supreme on the Chinese opera stage,with multiple productions under different directors.What makes Turandot so popular is probably the use of Chinese folk song 'Jasmine,' which many Chinese believe is the most popular Chinese tune the West ever knows.To present Turandot,therefore, becomes a matter of national pride.But let' s extend our vista and promote other opera classics in China.
