都市城郊佛教丛林组织模式的现代建构——基于昆明市宝华寺的实证分析

Modern Structure of Buddhist Conglin Organizational Modes in Metropolitan Suburbs:A Positivist Case Study Based on the Huabao Temple in Kunming

本文从宗教社会学的视角,着重从成员构成、制度规范、经济支持和权力体系四个方面对昆明市城郊宝华寺个案进行分析,得出以下结论:当代丛林的成员模式呈开放性特征,丛林内形成了僧人群体与俗众群体共同构建的制度化共命关系;丛林组织在现代建构中虽然采用了多元化的经济形式、网络技术等现代手段,但如果注意保持其宗教的神圣性,丛林更能获得长足的发展;丛林权力体系的现代建构有科层化的特点。

Buddhist Conglin organizational structure has played an essential role in the revival of the Conglin system in the contemporary world.However,academia attention paid to this phenomenon is very discrepant to its importance.Adopting the perspective of sociology of religion,this paper tries to provide a case study on the Huabao Temple in the suburb of Kunming,analyzing its membership constituent,systematic normative,economic support and power structure.The authors came to the conclusion that membership of the contemporary Conglin shows the characteristic of openness,and within there has been formed a systematic symbiotic relationship between the monks and lay people.Although contemporary Conglin organization has adopted many modern technical means in its structure(i.e.multiple economic forms and internet technology),it can hope for more endured development if attention is paid to retain its religious sanctity.The modern structure of Conglin power system shows characteristics of a bureaucratic hierarchy institution.
