以图书馆、现代图书馆,特别是高校图书馆的发展及功能演变为导引,对山西大学图书馆的立项背景、设计过程、规划及功能布局、建筑造型等方面进行了简要论述,较为立体和粗线条地展示了山西大学图书馆的设计理念和构思。

Taking the library, modem library, especially university libraries＇ development and functional evolution as the leading, this paper discusses the project background, design process, planning and functional layout, and architectural shapes of the library of Shanxi University, and rather vertieally and roughly displays the design idea and conception of the library of Shanxi University.
