The paper illustrates the definition of the detail design, its contents, the detail design＇ s extension for the landscape design, as well as the future direction for the detail design, and explores the importance of the detail design in the landscape design according to the impetuous and rough landscape design industry and its ignorance of the detail design in China, so as to direct the landscape designer to start from the details and promote their design quality.
