This paper introduces the composition of residential energy consumption and loss ways of heating energy consumption. Combining with relevant policies, in view of climate characteristics of northern Shanxi zone, it explores residential energy conservation method in this zone, mainly expounds specific measures for reducing heating energy consumption, with a view to promote the residential energy conservation work in northern Shanxi.
