This case study focuses on the impact of Content-based Instruction Reform on English Majors＇ listening at the beginning stage. This study adopts the researching methods of class observation and questionnaires to obtain data concerned systematically. The research reveals that the implementation of CBI reform at the beginning stage has positive influence on English Majors＇ listening development.
