Theoretical Connotation and Essential Characteristics of Marxist Learning Party

"建设马克思主义学习型政党"是党的十七届四中全会深刻总结历史经验,科学分析当前形势,着眼于提高党的执政能力,保持和发展党的先进性而提出的崭新命题,具有丰富的理论内涵和鲜明的时代特征。我们一定要认真贯彻全会精神,把加强和改进全党的学习摆在更加突出的位置,不断提高全党政治思想水平,使我们党真正成为科学理论武装、具有世界眼光、善于把握规律、富有创新精神的马克思主义学习型政党。

The Fourth Plenum of the 17th CPC Central Committee profoundly summarized the historical experience, made scientific analysis of the current situation, focused on enhancing the Party＇s governance capability and maintaining and developing the Party＇ s advance, at last put forward a new proposition： ＂Building a learning Marxist Party＂ which has a rich theoretical content and distinctive characteristics of the times. We must conscientiously implement the spirit of the plenary session, give prominent priority to strengthening and improving the learning of the whole party, and continuously improve the level of party＇ s political ideology, so that make us truly become a learning Marxist Party which uses scientific theory to arm the party, has a world perspective, is good at grasping the laws, and is rich in innovative spirit.
