摘要
该文阐述对一种采用微晶芯片制成的管型基元LED的研究,这种管型基元LED结构是将N个≤25μm×25μm的芯片贴装在透光导热良好的基片上,通过串并联后再与梳篦状结构的导电和导热的反光板连接,然后再将其装入透光性好的玻管,两端分别用特殊形状的插接端子引出电源,并气密性封接和充入1atm以上的干燥氮气或其他惰性气体。这种管型基元LED的测试结果表明,其光效比同批次采用1 mm×1 mm尺寸的芯片提高1倍以上,而且在输入电流加大25%左右时也没有明显降低。研制成果表明它能为普通照明和液晶显示器的背光照明提供一种高光效的管型基元LED元件。
The research on one type of tube element LED which is made of micro-chip has been studied. In this type of LED ' s manufacturing process we will first paste some chips with the size of no more than 25 μm ×25μm on the substrate which has good light transmission and heat-conducting. We put them into a transparent glass tube. Afterwards electric connections have been conducted with the comb structure of reflector board which can conduct electricity-heat & has air-tight sealing to be able to fill the dry nitrogen or some other inert gases with the pressure over 1 atm in the glass tube. The comparative testing of the LED called as the tube element after powering it on shows that its luminous efficiency is unexpectedly increased by over 100% compared with that of the same passel of chips with the size of 1 mm×1 mm. The results have proved that it has the potential to be used for the applications of general lighting or back lighting.
