A Study on the Cultural Identity and National Psychology of the Dai People:With the view of development and innovation from Lan Ga Xi He and Luo Mo Yan Na

文化身份与民族心理是一个民族的整体性和根本性特征,对于理解和研究一个民族的历史及文化具有重要价值。本文以傣族著名英雄史诗《兰嘎西贺》对印度经典神话《罗摩衍那》的变异与创新为切入点,通过展示二者的亲缘关系以及傣族人民进行的民族性加工与创新,探究傣族的文化身份与民族心理特征。

Cultural identity and national psychology is the unitary and fundamental feature of one nation, they are very important to research on the nation＇s history and culture.The present paper focuses on the development and innovation from the famous epic Lan Ga Xi He about the Dai people to the classic saga Luo Mo Yan Na of India.Based on a discussion of the relationship between Lan Ga Xi He and Luo Mo Yan Na,and the description and creation by the Dai people,it probes into the cultural identity and national psychology of the Dai people.
