The peculiarities of monomer casting nylon（ MC nylon） were explained. The applications of MC nylon in medical treatment, meehanical equipment, steel industry, mining, building, food packing, military applications, transportation, and so on were significantly reviewed. Furthermore, the development directions in the future were brought forward and summarized.
