The conservation concept of the historical blocks is mainly carried out in the article.Through analysis and research of the idea,manner and method to protect and rebuild the historical blocks in Germany and China,one kind of new protective method which is suitable to the Chinese national condition is explored.The method,which is to protect the historical blocks,is to protect its whole style environment,the cultural connotation,the traditional custom as well as the existing social life structure,and gradually improve the resident living standard.
