文学批评作为一种精神性实践,担当着守护人类精神家园,建构新的人文精神的使命,但随着传媒时代的到来,大众消费文化对文学批评产生了重大影响,娱乐代替了审美,游戏取代了精神价值。文学批评要完成"精神守望者"的职责,必须坚守批评的精神品格,批评家必须通过加强人格修养和道德历练,保持评判的终极价值、理性的批判锋芒和永远的人性关怀。
