Effect,Potential and Prospect of Comprehensive Agricultural Development in the Hilly Area of Jiangsu Province

"十一五"以来,省政府更加重视丘陵山区开发,召开了两次丘陵山区农业综合开发现场会,颁发了《江苏省丘陵山区农业综合开发的意见》,把丘陵山区农业综合开发作为农业和农村经济发展的一个新增长极来规划,作为建设现代高效农业的一个重要阵地加以突破。各地紧紧围绕丘陵山区农业产业结构调整,重点发展经济林果、特色蔬菜、草食畜禽和观光农业等主导产业,着力推进农业产业化经营,形成产业规模和区域特色,有力地促进了农业增效、农民增收。

Since the eleventh five-year plan was promoted,provincial government of Jiangsu province has paid more attention to development of hills and mountains,two meeting about comprehensive agricultural development was hold and file of ＂comprehensive agricultural development of hills and mountains in Jiangsu province＂ was promulgated,which sets the comprehensive agricultural development of hills and mountains as the new growth field of agriculture and rural economic development,as an important field for building a modern and efficient agriculture.Secondary government of Jiangsu province focus on agricultural structure adjustment of the hills and mountains,and devote to leading economic development about fruit,special vegetables,livestock grazing and agricultural tourism,industrialization of agriculture should be promoted to form industrial scale,regional characteristics,income of agriculture and farmers.
